2. Data we collect
- Email address — if you subscribe to our newsletter.
- Name, email, subject and message — if you submit our contact form.
- Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) — held briefly by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.
We do not collect cookies for advertising or behavioural analytics.
3. Legal basis for processing
We rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR) when you actively submit a form, and on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) for basic server logs needed to keep the site available and secure.
4. Service providers and third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate this website:
- Formspree (formspree.io) — processes form submissions (subscribe and contact). Your email address is shared with Formspree only for the purpose of delivering your submission to us. See Formspree's Privacy Policy.
- Bunny Fonts (fonts.bunny.net) — privacy-friendly web-font delivery. No cookies are set.
- Vercel — hosting and content delivery. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or behavioural-analytics tools. We do not share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers. If we add such partners in the future, we will update this policy and notify visitors before any tracking begins.
5. Your rights (UK GDPR)

- Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data.
- Right to object or restrict processing.
- Right to withdraw consent at any time.
- Right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk.

6. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for the website to function (for example, remembering form submissions). We do not use marketing or analytics cookies. Your browser may block or delete cookies at any time via its settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect site functionality.
7. Data retention
Newsletter email addresses are retained for as long as you remain subscribed, and removed promptly on unsubscribe. Contact form messages are retained for up to 24 months for reference, then deleted. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.
